$6 for the Twilight book??   I got the paperback at Borders for $10.99, which i thought was a good deal! I love buying books, i hope to share them all with my kids one day, so it doesn't bother me to buy them. Now i'm gonna have to check out Walmart and see if i can get the rest of them cheaper!  

Lol!  It must be so cute and hard and funny and frustrating when your baby starts developing her own little personality!  Don't feel bad- my mom, who would make Job look impatient, confessed that she had almost (on more than one occasion) wanted to kill both my brother and I as babies.  We'd just be making a little too much noise when she had a headache, or we'd do that thing where you prod someone on the arm and go "mom...mom...mom" and she'd want to throttle us.  One day, she took some diet pills that disagreed with her and put her into a temper.  She REALLY got mad at us, to the point where she had to drop us off at a friend's house til she'd calmed down- so you're not a bad mom.  Lol.  Your a NORMAL mom. 

Sorry its taken me so long to answer your question.  The reason why I am known as Ally when my real name is Angela is that when I got onto this site no one (including Jace- who, you will find, is not called Jace either) knew I had this diary.  I was terrified of Jace reading it, so I gave hima fake name, as well as Boots and Dax.  My nickname at school was Ally, so I used that.  As I've become more comfortable, I stopped using pseudonyms for most people, but because everyone knew my boyf as Jace and my cat and dog as Boots and Dax, I've just kept it that way to keep things simple.  Anyway, I see you haven't added me yet.. there are two people with my name, but you should recognise me from my profile pic! 

i know how you feel on the diaries.  it takes a really interesting title (or comment from some nice person) for me to stray away from my favorites because the other diaries out there drive me nuts.  all the teenage high school drama stuff.  i'm too old for that crap.

I agree with you about the caliber of diaries here on this site. There are sooo many that are written by people who are consumed by the trivialities that the society has thrust upon them. I prefer to read about real people doing real things as well! You seem real, wanna be friends?

You're not weird at all!!!  Lol.  I also get very mad when Jace goes away... I want him to text me once an hour, saying how much he misses me, how crap it is without me, etc, etc, etc!!  I also want him to have fun, really, but I want him to miss me more!!!

Friends- it can be as complicated as the boyfriend-girlfriend dynamic!  My high school bestie was like that- skinny, beautiful, smart.  Got all the guys, became a doctor.  There is enough about her to keep me jealous for a lifetime!  And when she went off to med school, she made a ton of new friends and didn't need me anymore.  I still miss our friendship. 

Anyway! 

Thank you so much for your comment on my diary.  I feel so grateful for the support of my MDD friends.  It is so great to have a place where I can record my fears and feelings- it helps me gain perspective.  I would fall to pieces if I didn't have this.

i noticed that comment this morning when i wrote to you.  moron.  just ignore them.  go to the admin08 diary and tell them the problem.  they'll kick them out.  i've done that before. 

i hear ya on the bills coming in faster than the money. between just our car loans and our mortgage, we have $1600 in bills every month.  that's not including electric or anything else.  just the mortgage and the two cars. 

and if i were you guys, i'd call the better business bureau about that company that's not paying D.  then i'd call a lawyer.  they owe you that money, they can't just not pay it to you.  i'd definately look into it and make sure he gets his money.

Awww, I'm so sorry Zahava is sick!  I hope she gets better soon, it must be exhausting for you. 

I know what you mean about a vacation- I need a break from EVERYTHING, including myself, every now and then, lol.  Its hard being everything- mom/girlfriend/wife/employee/sister/daughter... some days it feels like you may explode!

I'm so sorry people said mean things to you.  Good grief, people are ALL about the US elections at the moment- even in SA its the talk of the town!  You can't have a conversation without people discussing the whole thing. 

I loved your pics, by the way!  You are gorgeous and D is so handsome!  Zahava is going to be a very pretty girl with such good genes! That cake looked super-yummy.  I had one just like it for my first birthday, except the skirt was pink and my Barbie doll was a REALLY cheap and nasty looking one- yours looked very stylish!  I also loved the letter you wrote to Zahava- it brought tears to my eyes.  It is such an amzing idea to do that. 

To answer your question, I met Jamie through MDD and we email each other (my addy, btw is allyssecrets@gmail.com).  Its amazing, she lives in the US and I live in SA, but we have a lot in common- I love all the friends I have made through MDD. 

Anyway... I am now trying to catch up on all my faves at the moment!

Its an interesting thought- once a cheater always a cheater.  My father cheated on my mom before I was born and they got divorced.  They then got back together, and in the 28 years they have been married (for the second time) I do not believe my dad has strayed. 

I also believe (and bear with me for a second here) that people are not naturally monogamous.  We have to "force" ourselves to keep our desires for people outside of our marriages or serious relationships in check.  The truth of the matter is, if we were completely naturally monogamous, there would be no need to get married in order to contractually and religiously bind our unions.  I don't know if that makes sense.  Anyway, my point is just that temptation can actually make you a better partner- make you realise that you have to keep working at what you have. 

Don't get a divorce.

Life is too short-love one another. Even if you dont love him like you think you should, love is NOT perfect. Marriage is not puppy love..its companionship-of course you're going to annoy eachother and feel that way.

I would stay in it-unless it gets TERRIBLY BAD..

i've been married 5 years now, and it's definately not all fun and games.  but everyone has their baggage.  if it's not your husband's bad moods, it'll be something different with some other guy.  no relationship is all sunshine and roses. if you can still find good things about him, and the good days still outnumber the bad....then i guess it's not all bad. 

isn't it so funny how songs can bring you back like that?  i have quite a few that do it to me too. 

that first paragraph was funny.  i knew who you wree talking about with each issue, and 2 were me.    sorry to make your brain kick into high gear.  i just love to read, and i'm big into non-fiction stuff, and usually when i read, my brain kicks into another gear all on it's own.    it's usually interesting to just spew out there and see what comes back.

That SUCKS about your ex-boss.  He sounds like a real nightmare.  Over here, our labour laws wouldn't allow that sh*t.  It makes me so mad when people get mistreated.

My skin also started to break out when I got older- like a baby's bottom when I was in my teens, then when I turned 20 *BHAM* I turned into pizza-face.  I started on the pill and I still have to take it- if I go off I break out almost straight away.  Urgh, it sucks!

i don't miss those days when paige was up at night.  thankfully, she was an extrodinarily excellent baby and those were few and far between.  hope she sleeps better tonight so you can get some sleep tonight.

there's some diaries i can't even read because they're so woe is me, but these people take no intiative to change the things they don't like about their lives....i wish life worked like that.  i have acouple people in my life i'd just like to stop "reading" because they're the same way.

LOL... no, we don't use "army time" here, I guess its a force of habit thing for me- I usually use that time format when I draft opinions and affidavits- it saves on confusion between 8 in the morning or 8 at night... And for some reason I don't like going 8 am or 8 pm... another Ally weirdness!!  :-P 

It IS so cool that we can just be like "heya" even though we're on the opposite end of the planet.  My best friend is currently living in New Jersey and its so cool to just be able to send him a text or whatever.  Technology rocks!  I love saying to Jace:  my friend in New York, or my friend in England, etc... I've met so many cool people on this site, its really awesome.   

Of course we can motivate each other, that would be really awesome!  I'll do 50 sit ups today if you will...   Lol.  I'm also going to walk Dax on Saturday- a nice, easy paced 4 km (don't know what that is in miles!) walk... Tha challenge is on!
